Guy Carbonneau 1000th NHL Game and 400th NHL Assist Pucks - Guy Carbonneau Letter
Lot #306
These pucks come directly from the collection of Guy Carbonneau. A letter from Mr. Carbonneau will accompany your purchase.

These two pucks represent the 1000th game and 400th Assist milestones in Guy Carbonneau’s great NHL career. The Montreal Canadiens selected Carbonneau in the 3rd round of the 1979 NHL Entry Draft. Guy made his NHL debut in 1980-81 with Les Habitants and spent the first 13 years of his 19-year, 1318-game NHL career with Montreal. Following 2 Stanley Cup titles with the Canadiens, Carbonneau spent a season with the St. Louis Blues before joining the Dallas Stars where he spent the final 5 years of his storied career. During his final 2 years with the Stars, Carbonneau made back-to-back trips to the Stanley Cup Finals and skated away with his 3rd Stanley Cup ring. In the tradition of Bob Gainey before him, Carbonneau took over the reigns as the NHL’s best defensive forward and was so recognized with 3 Frank J. Selke Trophies spanning 1988 to 1992.

Guy reached his 1000th Point on February 6, 1996 while a member of the Dallas Stars. His 400th assist was recorded on December 31, 1999, also with the Stars, in his final NHL season.
