This pair of blue Reebok hockey gloves were game worn by All Star defenseman Dion Phaneuf while playing for the Toronto Maple Leafs. Phaneuf was drafted 9th overall in 2003 by the Calgary Flames where he starred for 5 years before being traded to the Maple Leafs midway through the 2009-10 season. Dion had tallied double-digit goal totals in each of his first 6 NHL seasons including a career high 20-goals as a rookie in 2005-06. Thus far in his young career, Phaneuf has partook in 3 NHL All Star games and was a 1st Team NHL All Star selection in 2008. Looked upon as a strong leader, after only 26 games in a Leafs uniform, Phaneuf was named team Captain in Toronto.
