This black Warrior hockey stick was game used by future Hall of Famer Brendan Shanahan. Shanahan began his career with the New Jersey Devils in 1987-88, and helped lead the fledgling franchise to their first ever playoff appearance. He moved to St. Louis to begin the 1991-92 season and spent the next four seasons with the Blues. After a year in Hartford, Shanny joined the Red Wings where he toiled for 9 years before joining the New York Rangers where he currently resides although he has yet to sign a contract for the upcoming season.
This future Hall of Famer is a two-time 50-goal man who has already amassed 650 career goals and 1340 career points. His goal total currently places him 11th in the history of the sport. Lest we not forget that Shanny also has spent better than 2400 minutes in the sin bin. He epitomizes the term power forward and will surely be forever recognized as one of the games best in that category. Shanahan was a twice named 1st Team NHL All Star and has been a fixture in the annual NHL All Star game. He has 3 Stanley Cup rings and the King Clancy Memorial Trophy to his credit.
