14 inch wide piece of the 8 inch high yellow kickplate from the famous Boston Garden. The Garden, built in 1928, was home to the Boston Celtics and Boston Bruins as well as concerts and other events. It was demolished in 1997 as it had given way to the FleetCenter. The last official game played at the Garden took place on Sunday May 14, 1995 as the Bruins and New Jersey Devils squared off in game 5 of the Eastern Conference quarterfinals.
