This Sher-Wood hockey stick was used by winger Bill Fairbairn while playing for the New York Rangers. Fairbairn had a 11-year NHL career playing for the Rangers, North Stars and Blues but for more than half his career he was a Ranger. Bill's best statistical year was with the blue shirts in 1972-73 when he scored 30 goals.
The stick is fully taped on the butt and blade. It has the "Gerry Cosby & Co." stamp on each side. The player name "Fairbairn" and player number "10" are also stamped on the side.
