You can see where Jack Carlson’s name was whited out and Dave Hanson replaces him as the 3rd Hanson Brother (originally all spelled “Hansen” in the script and on the call sheets)All 3 Carlson brothers (Jeff, Steve, & Jack) were originally hired to portray the Hanson Brothers and Dave Hanson was supposed to play Dave “Killer” Carlson.  But Jack was called up to play for the Minnesota Fighting Saints and was unable to be in the movie, so Jerry Houser was then cast to play Dave “Killer” Carlson & Dave Hanson became the 3rd Hanson Brother

One Day original admission ticket to be part of the crowd while “Slap Shot” was  filming in Johnstown, PA.  Dates included April 27, 28; May 10, 11, 12, 17, 18, 1976.  Included raffle ticket # 10169 which was used in a drawing for some lucky fan to win an All Expense Trip to Hollywood / Universal Studios VIP Tour back in 1976

Although it follows the screen version somewhat closely, this 208 page paperback edition written by Richard Woodley, from Berkley Publishing features quite a few hilariously different situations and many new or different named characters not seen in the movie.  Jim Carr called Jim Yost?  Mo Wanchuk called “Saginaw? 
A must read for any Slap Shot fan to find all this stuff out!
