This road blue air-knit gamer by Reebok was worn by Pekka Rinne during the 2009-10 NHL season. The Nashville Predators drafted Rinne in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft. After spending 4 seasons in his native Finland where he led his team to back-to-back Finnish Elite League championships, Rinne then joined the Nashville Predators organization in 2005-06. He split time between Nashville and their AHL affiliate in Milwaukee for a few seasons before landing the Predators starting job in 2008-09. Since then this 6’ 5” netminder has started 52, 58, 64 and 73 games respectively the past 4 seasons for Nashville and as of this writing he is leading the Predators between the pipes in the 2012 playoffs.
The game wear on this size 58 set 1 goalie cut sweater consists of stick and puck marks, goal post paint transfer, areas of pilling and a team-sewn repair that borders the crest. Shown above is a beautiful photo match of Rinne wearing this exact jersey during the 2009-10 season. Sewn to the inside hem is the official NHL game worn jersey tagging. This jersey will be accompanied by a Predators team letter.
