This road white air-knit gamer by Reebok was worn by Martin Gerber during the 2008-09 NHL season. This native of Burgdorf Switzerland began his NHL career in 2002-03 with the Anaheim Mighty Ducks. After a couple of seasons on the pond, Martin joined the Hurricanes for one year before moving to the Ottawa Senators for parts of 3 seasons. Since leaving the Sens Gerber has guarded the pipes in Toronto and Edmonton. On the international scene, in addition to a handful of World Championships, Gerber has twice represented the Swiss Olympic Team.
The game wear on this size 58 set 2 goalie cut sweater is solid and consists of stick and puck marks, pilling and a couple of team-sewn repairs that includes a massive sew job that resides alongside the crest. Shown above are a couple of beautiful photo matches of Gerber wearing this exact jersey during the 2008-09 season. Sewn to the inside hem is the official NHL game worn jersey tagging. This jersey will be accompanied by a Senators team letter.
