This road white air-knit gamer by Reebok was worn by Curtis Sanford during the 2008-09 NHL season. Sanford is a veteran goalie who began his professional career back in 1996-97. It took about a decade of minor pro play for Sanford to get an opportunity in the NHL. In 2005-06 Sanford joined the St. Louis Blues. He partook in 34 games that year and 31 games the next before joining the Vancouver Canucks in 2007-08 where he served at the team’s backup for a total of 2 seasons.
The game wear on this size 58 set 1 gamer is solid and consists of stick and puck marks, goal post paint transfer, an un-repaired one inch long slice on the hem, stitch pops along the hem line and nice areas of pilling. Shown above are a couple of beautiful photo matches of Sanford wearing this exact jersey during the 2008-09 season. Sewn to the inside hem is the official NHL game worn jersey tagging. This jersey will be accompanied by a Canucks team letter.
