This road white air-knit gamer by Reebok was worn by Vesa Toskala during the 2007-08 NHL season. Originally drafted by the San Jose Sharks in 1995, Toskala, a native of Finland, remained in Europe until the 2000-01 season. He would spend parts of 5 seasons with the Sharks before joining the Maple Leafs for the 2007-08 season. He spent 3 years in Toronto until a deal sent him to Calgary late in the 2009-10 campaign, his final NHL season. Vesa returned to Europe and played for AIK in the Swedish Elite League in 2010-11.

The game wear on this 1st set size 58 goalie cut sweater is solid and consists of stick and puck marks, goal post paint transfer, plenty of pulls and areas of heavy pilling. Shown above are a couple of beautiful photo matches of Toscala wearing this exact jersey in the October 4th road opener against the Ottawa Senators during the 2007-08 season. Sewn to the inside hem is the official NHL game worn jersey tagging. This jersey will be accompanied by a Maple Leafs team letter.
