This beautiful jersey was part of the Ken “Hammered Hockey” Mace Collection. We will be donating a percentage of the proceeds from the sale of this sweater to the The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society both in support of Ken and to help aid in the fight against Blood Cancers.
This road white air-knit gamer by Reebok was worn by Olympic hero Shea Weber during the 2007-08 NHL season. Weber began his career with Nashville, the team that drafted him in the 2nd round of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. He has remained with the Predators ever since and is now playing in his 7th season with the club. In the 2010 Winter Olympics, Shea dazzled onlookers with his steady two-way play that earned him a selection to the Winter Olympics All Star squad. His booming slapper is becoming legendary, helped in large part to the goal he scored against Germany that went through the net! Already an NHL All Star, the future looks bright for this towering defenseman.
Sewn to the right breast of this gamer is the Nashville Predators 10-year anniversary patch. The game wear on this 2nd set sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, pulls and pilling as well as 7 team-sewn repairs. Sewn to the inside hem is the official NHL game worn jersey tagging. Sewn alongside is the official Nashville Predators game worn jersey tagging. A fantastic patched example donned by this Norris Trophy hopeful during the early part of his career.
It comes as no surprise that this jersey has solid game wear, as it was part of the Ken “Hammered Hockey” Mace Collection. This jersey will be accompanied by a Predators team letter.
