This white air-knit gamer by SP was worn by Ryan Murphy during the 2007-08 ECHL season. The Los Angeles Kings selected Murphy in the 6th round of the 2002 NHL Entry Draft. Murphy was born in Rumson, NJ and spent a couple of years on the US Junior and Under-18 National Teams before attending Boston College. After his college career, he spent 5 years in the minors where he split his time between the AHL’s Manchester Monarchs, Hartford Wolf Pack and Peoria Rivermen as well as the ECHL’s Charlotte Checkers.
Sewn to the left shoulder is the ECHL’s 20-year anniversary patch. Sewn to the right breast and the back collar are the sponsorship patches. The game wear on this 1st set size 54 sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes and areas of pilling. This jersey will be accompanied by an ECHL letter.
