Biron was drafted by the Buffalo Sabres in the 1st round of the 1995 NHL entry draft. He played parts of 9 seasons for the Sabres before a February 2007 trade sent him to the Flyers. After 3 seasons in Philadelphia, Biron played for the New York Islanders and last season for the New York Rangers. Biron finished last season with 216 career Wins.
