This blue air-knit gamer by Reebok was worn by Rick DiPietro during the 2006-07 NHL season. DiPietro was the #1 overall selection in the 2000 NHL entry draft. He has spent his entire 7 year career with the New York Islanders and figures to be around for a long time. In the summer of 2006, Dipietro signed a 15-year contract with the Islanders. This was the longest contract ever signed in the history of the NHL. Rick, a Winthrop MA native, has already represented Team USA in the Olympics. Rick missed most of this season due to injury.
Game wear on this size 60 goalie cut jersey is solid. There are a number of visible stick and puck marks, goal-post-paint transfer and inner pilling despite the predominantly navy coloration. Sewn to the inside hem is the official NHL game worn jersey tagging. This jersey will be accompanied by an Islanders team letter.
