This was the last season of Jeff’s fine career, which began as a 1st round draft choice by San Jose back in 1994. He began his career with the Sharks during the 1994-95 seasons and represented his original team for 7 seasons. Five seasons followed which saw Jeff play for Anaheim, New Jersey, Washington and Calgary with whom he spent his final NHL season. Friesen was part of the New Jersey Devils Stanley Cup winning squad in 2003.
