This road white air-knit gamer by Reebok was worn by Hannu Toivonen during the 2006-07 NHL season. The Boston Bruins drafted Toivonen in the 1st round of the 2002 NHL Entry Draft. A native of Finland, Hannu spent a couple of years in Europe prior to joining the Bruins organization. After two seasons with Boston, Toivonen spent a year with the St. Louis Blues prior to returning to Europe in 2008-09. He has since returned and has recently been guarding the pipes in the AHL for Peoria and Rockford.
The game wear on this size 58 set 1 goalie cut sweater is solid and consists of stick and puck marks, gobs upon gobs of goal post and crossbar paint transfer as well as inner pilling. Shown above are a couple of beautiful photo matches of Toivonen wearing this exact jersey during the 2006-07 season. Sewn to the inside hem is the official NHL game worn jersey tagging. This jersey will be accompanied by a Bruins team letter.
