This home blue air-knit gamer by Reebok was worn by Dan Hinote during “Brett Hull Retirement Night” on December 5th 2006. After spending time in the NCAA with Army, this native of Florida was drafted by the Colorado Avalanche in 1996. He joined the club in 1999-00 and celebrated his only Stanley Cup a year later in 2000-01. After 6 seasons with the Avs, Hinote joined the St. Louis Blues where he spent the final 3 years of his NHL career. Hinote has recently pursued coaching and was an assistant with the Columbus Blue Jackets last season.
Sewn to the right breast of this gamer is the stunning Brett Hull Retirement Night patch that signified the retirement of Hull’s player number #16 to the rafters forever in St. Louis. The game wear on this sweater is on the light side having been worn in the game’s 1st period. On the fight strap in blue sharpie is the number “1”. Shown above is a photo taken of Hinote on Brett Hull Retirement night. Sewn to the inside hem is the official NHL game worn jersey tagging. This jersey will be accompanied by a Blues team letter.
