This Malmo, Sweden native spent a handful of years playing for Malmo IF in the SEL prior to joining the Rangers in 1999-00. After 2 seasons with New York, Johnsson joined the Philadelphia Flyers where he starred on their blueline for 4 years. In 2006-07 he began a 4-year stint with the Minnesota Wild that ended after a late season trade to the Blackhawks in 2009-10, after which he retired from the sport with 10 years of NHL service in tow.
