This white air-knit and mesh gamer by Reebok was worn by Darcy Tucker during the 6th annual Hockey Hall of Fame game on November 5th 2005 as the Toronto Maple Leafs defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning by the score of 5-3. After spending 4 years with the Kamloops Blazers in the WHL, Tucker began his NHL career in 1995-96 with the Montreal Canadiens. After parts of 3 seasons with Les Habitants, Darcy was dealt to the Tampa Bay Lightning where he spent parts of the next 3 seasons. During the 1999-00 campaign, Tucker arrived in Toronto and spent the next 8 years with the Maple Leafs. He finished his career spending 2 final seasons with the Colorado Avalanche. Tucker was an adept two-way player and the consummate agitator. In 2005-06, the season in which he wore this sweater, Darcy set career highs with 28 goals and 61 points.
Sewn to the right breast of this gamer is the 2005 Hockey Hall of Fame game patch. The game wear on this sweater is light with some board burns and board paint transfer worthy of mention. Shown above is a photo of Tucker wearing this exact jersey during the 2005 Hockey Hall of Fame game. Sewn to the inside hem is the official NHL game worn jersey tagging. A nice patched example worn during a career year for Tucker. This jersey will be accompanied by an NHL letter.
