This red air-knit gamer by Reebok was worn by Brendan Shanahan during the 2005-06 NHL season. Shanahan began his career with the New Jersey Devils in 1987-88, and helped lead the fledgling franchise to their first ever playoff appearance. He moved to St. Louis to begin the 1991-92 season, and spent the next four seasons with the Blues. After a year in Hartford, Shanny joined the Red Wings where he toiled for 9 years before joining the New York Rangers where he spent 2 seasons. His most recent residence was with the New Jersey Devils.
This future Hall of Famer is a two-time 50-goal man who has already amassed in excess of 650 goals and 1350 points in what has been a tremendous career. His goal total currently places him 11th in the history of the sport. Lest we not forget that Shanny also has spent about 2500 minutes in the sin bin. He epitomizes the term power forward and will surely be forever recognized as one of the games all time greats in that category. Shanahan was a twice named 1st Team NHL All Star and has been a fixture in the annual NHL All Star game. He has 3 Stanley Cup rings and the King Clancy Memorial Trophy to his credit.
