This set of Vaughn red and white goalie gloves were worn by Ray Emery during the very early part of his career with the Ottawa Senators. Ray was having a good year in his first for the Philadelphia Flyers before a torn muscle in his abdomen ended his season on December 8, 2009. Ray was selected in the 4th round, 99th overall, in the 2001 NHL Amateur draft by the Ottawa Senators. During the 2006-07 season, Ray became the Senators starting goalie and help lead them to their only Stanley Cup Finals appearance in 2007. After playing in Russia in the 2008-09 season, Emery returned to the NHL, signing with the Flyers for the 2009-2010 season.
