This home black air-knit gamer by Koho was worn by Vincent Lecavalier during the 2003-04 regular season and playoffs en-route to the Stanley Cup Finals. Lecavalier was the #1 overall selection in the 1998 NHL Entry Draft. He has spent his entire 12-year career with the Tampa Bay Lightning, where he remains to this day as the face of the franchise. Vincent had scored 373 goals and 842 points thru the end of the 2011-12 season. He was the winner of the Maurice “Rocket” Richard trophy in 2006-07 as the league’s leading goal scorer with 52.
In 2007-08 he won the King Clancy Memorial Trophy, which is awarded to the player who best exemplifies leadership qualities on and off the ice and has made a noteworthy humanitarian contribution to his community. Lecavalier has a 2nd Team NHL All Star selection to his credit and has played in a handful of NHL All Star games. On the international stage, Vincent has represented Team Canada in the 2004 World Cup of Hockey and the 2006 Olympics.
Lecavalier’s most important career accomplishment came during the 2003-04 playoff march while wearing this jersey. It was during that playoff run that the Lightning captured their first and only Stanley Cup championship to date. Sewn to the left breast of this jersey is the alternate Captain’s “A”. This set 3 gamer was worn by Lecavalier beginning on March 16th 2004, and then all the way thru the Eastern Conference Finals against the Philadelphia Flyers. The game wear on this sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, pulls and inner pilling. Shown above are a couple of beautiful photo matches of Lecavalier wearing this exact jersey during the Eastern Conference Finals. Sewn to the inside hem is the official NHL game worn jersey tagging. Sewn alongside is the official Tampa Bay Lightning game worn jersey tagging. Fantastic offering from the most important time in team history as Lecavalier and his teammates marched to Stanley Cup glory. This jersey will be accompanied by a Lightning team letter.
