This road white air-knit gamer by CCM was worn by Hal Gill during the 2003-04 NHL season. This 6’ 7” 240 lb. Massachusetts native graduated Providence College and then moved directly to the NHL. Following just 4 games with the Providence Bruins, Hal joined the Boston Bruins in 1997 where he played for 8 years, quite a treat for the kid from Concord. Two seasons followed in Toronto before a deadline deal sent Hal to the Penguins late in 2007-08. Gill would play a large defensive role in the Penguins march to the Cup Finals in both 2008 and 2009, where he captured his only Stanley Cup ring. Now in his 14th NHL season, Gill has spent the past 3 years with the Montreal Canadiens.
The game wear on this 3rd set size 58 sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes, inner pilling and 3 team-sewn repairs. Removed from the left breast is the alternate Captain’s “A”. Sewn to the inside hem is the official NHL game worn jersey tagging. This jersey will be accompanied by a Bruins team letter.
