Pearson awards as the NHL’s outstanding player and 2 Hart Memorial Trophies as league MVP. In 2001-02, his last season before his announced retirement; Hasek won the Trophy that had eluded him to that point, the Stanley Cup as a member of the Detroit Red Wings. Dominik decided to make a comeback in 2003-04 and is still playing strong. His 70+ career shutouts rank among the best of all-time. Dom will be remembered as one of the most dominating players we’ll have seen play in our lifetimes. A first ballot Hall of Fame induction no doubt awaits him, whenever he decides to hang up his skates for good.
