This blue knit gamer by Gemini was worn by Thomas Vanek during the 2002 USHL All Star game. The Buffalo Sabres selected Vanek with the 5th overall pick in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. After playing his award laden college hockey at the University of Minnesota, Vanek began his NHL career with the Sabres in 2005-06. He is now completing his 7th NHL season, having spent his entire career with Buffalo. Already to his credit is the 2006-07 Bud Light Plus-Minus Award, an NHL All Star game appearance and a 2nd Team NHL All Star selection at RW. Vanek is a two time 40-goal scorer who is in the midst of a $50 Million contract.
Prior to attending college, Vanek spent 3 seasons in the USHL. Offered here is his All Star sweater from his final of 3 years with the Sioux Falls Stampede of the USHL. The Sioux Falls Stampede patch is sewn to the left breast. Sewn to the right breast and both shoulders are sponsorship patches. Typical light All Star use exists on this size 56 gamer. A terrific opportunity to snag a pre-college jersey from this up and coming NHL sniper.
