This home white air-knit gamer by CCM was worn by Sami Kapanen during the 2002-03 NHL playoffs. Kapanen, a Finnish native, began his NHL career with the Hartford Whalers in 1995-96. He remained with the franchise through their move to Carolina, representing them for a total of 8 seasons. Sami’s next and final NHL stop was with the Philadelphia Flyers, who he joined in 2002-03 and played with for 5 years. Most recently, Kapanen has returned home to Finland where he has been playing for his pre-NHL team, KaIPa Kuopio.
This white CCM gamer was worn during Kapanen’s first season with the Flyers. The game wear on this sweater consists of numerous stick and slash marks, plenty of board burns and inner pilling. Sewn to the inside hem is the official NHL game worn jersey tagging. This jersey will be accompanied by an NHL letter.
