This road red air-knit gamer by Koho was worn by Jocelyn Thibault during the 2001-02 NHL season. The Quebec Nordiques selected Thibault with the 10th overall pick in the 1st round of the 1993 NHL Entry Draft. Jocelyn served the Nordiques and Avalanche for 3 years before he was sent packing to Montreal in exchange for Hall of Famer Patrick Roy. After parts of 4 seasons with Les Habitants, Jocelyn joined the Chicago Blackhawks where he tended goal for 6 years. He finished up his NHL career with stints in Pittsburgh and Buffalo. Thibault was a highly decorated goalie in the QMJHL and also played in the NHL All Star game in 2003, where he represented the Blackhawks.
Thibault played in a career high 67 games and won a career best 33 of them while wearing this jersey during the 2001-02 season. The game wear on this size 58 goalie cut sweater is solid and consists of stick and puck marks, goal post and crossbar paint transfer, skate slices, a well salted and rusted fight strap, areas of heavy pilling and 4 team-sewn repairs. Shown above is a photo match of Thibault wearing this exact jersey during the 2001-02 season. A fantastic looking photo matched example that dons the prettiest logo in all of sports! This jersey will be accompanied by a Blackhawks team letter.
