This road red air-knit gamer by Koho was worn by Darren McCarty during the Detroit Red Wings Stanley Cup championship season of 2001-02. McCarty was a 2nd round selection by the Red Wings in 1992. He broke into the NHL in 1993-94 and spent the next 11 seasons in the Motor City before moving on to the Calgary Flames for a couple of seasons before a brief return to Detroit. McCarty won 3 Stanley Cups during his 11 seasons with the Red Wings. Never slow to drop the gloves, Darren averaged about 2 PIMS per game with nearly 1500 total in his career.
