This Worcester, MA native played his award laden college hockey at Boston University before joining the NHL in 1998-99. He spent his first 4 seasons with Edmonton before a deal took him to the New York Rangers in 2002. Poti spent parts of 4 years with the Rangers, a season with the Islanders and most recently, the past handful with the Washington Capitals before injury sidelined him. To his credit is selection to the 1999 All Rookie Team as well as an appearance in the 2003 NHL Alll Star Game.
