McEachern won a Stanley Cup as a member of the Pittsburgh Penguins during his rookie season of 1991-92. His longest stretch of service came with the Ottawa Senators, where he spent 6 years. The 1999-00 season saw McEachern net 29 goals in what was one of the finest goal totals of his career.
