This home white air-knit gamer by CCM was worn by Kelly Buchberger during the 1999-00 NHL season. Buchberger spent his first 13 seasons of an 18-year NHL career with the Edmonton Oilers. In Edmonton, Kelly was part of 3 Stanley Cup winning teams and was even honored with the team Captaincy in the 1990’s. All told Buchberger played in 1182 NHL games, amassing 2297 PIMS.

Kelly was acquired by the Kings from Atlanta in a deadline deal in 2000, playing in 13 regular season and 4 more playoff games for them that season. This was Kelly’s home jersey from that year and is labeled in the trainers hand in silver sharpie on the inner hem as a set 2.

Sewn to the right breast of this sweater is the year 2000 anniversary patch. Game use consists of stick marks, board burns, board paint transfer and inner pilling. This jersey will be accompanied by an Kings team letter.
