Evgeni’s most recent NHL season was spent as a member of the New York Islanders. Nabokov’s official rookie year was 2000-01 and his stellar goaltending earned him Rookie of the Year honors and a spot on the All-Rookie Team as he captured the Calder Trophy. Evgeni was a 1st Team NHL All Star in 2008 and played in 2 NHL All Star games. In 2010, Nabokov became only the 2nd goalie in NHL history to record 3 consecutive winning seasons and set a record with 11 consecutive road wins the same season.
