This home white air-knit gamer by CCM was worn by Adam Oates during the 1999-00 NHL season. This center iceman made a name for himself setting up some of the great snipers of the modern era. First it was Brett Hull in St. Louis, next it was Cam Neely in Boston and finally it was Peter Bondra in Washington. His playmaking abilities led him to the rank of 6th in career NHL assists with only Gretzky, Francis, Bourque, Messier and Coffey ahead of him. Through his lengthy career, Adam accumulated nearly 1100 assists and better than 1400 career points which ranks him 16th all-time. Oates was a 2nd Team NHL All Star at Center and played in 5 NHL All Star games.
Proudly sewn to the left breast of this gamer is the Captain’s “C”. Sewn to the right breast of this gamer is the NHL’s year 2000 patch. The game wear on this size 54 sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, inner pilling and a couple of handfuls of team-sewn repairs. A nice offering from Adam’s time in Washington.
