This red alternate knit gamer by CCM was worn by Janne Laukkanen during the 1998-99 NHL season. The Quebec Nordiques selected Laukkanen in the 8th round of the 1991 NHL Entry Draft. Janne spent a handful of years playing in his native Finland prior to coming over to North America. Upon arriving he played for the team that drafted him, the Quebec Nordiques in 1994-95. He relocated with the franchise to Colorado and played merely a few regular season games with the club before he was dealt to the Ottawa Senators. Janne remained in Ottawa for parts of 5 seasons before joining the Pittsburgh Penguins for parts of 4 years. He called it quits after a final brief stint with the Tampa Bay Lightning. On the international scene Laukanen represented his native Finland, playing in several World Championships, the 1991 Canada Cup and 3 Olympics!
The game wear on this 2nd set size 56 alternate is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes, washed out bloodstains and fine inner pilling. This jersey will be accompanied by a Senators team letter.
