The “Believe” patch was worn during the 1997-98 season to honor their teammate Vladimir Konstantinov and team masseuse Sergei Mnatsakanov following their tragic automobile accident after a Stanley Cup celebratory party in June of 1997. On the inside hem is the Detroit Red Wings official game worn jersey tagging. It is believed that this jersey was worn for a Stanley Cup photo shoot.
