This stunning blue alternate air-knit gamer by CCM was worn by Karl Dykhuis during the 1997-98 NHL season. The Chicago Blackhawks selected Dykhuis in the 1st round of the 1990 NHL Entry Draft. He began his 12-year-long NHL career in 1991-92 with the Hawks, where he played for 2 seasons. Karl next joined the Flyers and represented them for parts of 5 of the next 6 seasons. He would serve a year and a half in Tampa during that span and then join his final NHL team, the Montreal Canadiens where he spent the final 5 years of his NHL career.
Sewn to the right breast of this snazzy alternate is the Cullen patch to honor teammate John Cullen’s fight against Cancer. The game wear on this size 56 sweater consists of stick marks, board burns, un-repaired burn holes, a salted fight strap and inner pilling. A nice patched alternate style that still resides on many collectors wantlists.
