This home white air-knit gamer by Nike was worn by Jamie Pushor during the Stanley Cup winning 1997-98 NHL season. Jamie was the Red Wings 2nd round selection in the 1991 NHL entry draft. He would enjoy a 10 year NHL career, the first 3 seasons having been spent with the Detroit Red Wings.
Sewn to the right breast of this gamer is the rarely offered and highly desirable “Believe” patch. This patch was worn during the 1997-98 season to honor their teammate Vladimir Konstantinov and team masseuse Sergei Mnatsakanov following their tragic automobile accident after a Stanley Cup celebratory party in June of 1997.
This jersey shows fine game wear consisting of many stick marks, board burns, inner and outer pilling, bloodstains and some team-sewn repair work. This much desired patched example was worn during the 2nd of back to back Stanley Cup winning seasons in Hockeytown. The official game worn team stamp is found in the hem and indicates this to be a set 1 jersey. The official Red Wings hologram remains affixed in the neck. This jersey will be accompanied by a Red Wings team letter.
