This road purple and teal air-knit gamer by Nike was worn by Brian Bellows during the 1997-98 NHL season. Bellows retired with impressive career totals. He tabbed 485 goals and over 1000 points during his illustrious career. Brian was the Minnesota North Stars 1st pick, 2nd overall, in the 1982 NHL entry draft. Bellows was a 3-time NHL All Star, is a member of the 50-goal club and 4 times scored 40 or more goals in a season. A trade in the summer of 1992 brought Brian to Montreal, and it was in large part to his stellar play that the Canadiens captured the 1993 Stanley Cup in his first season with the club.
This gamer was worn during Brian’s only season in Anaheim as he fought for Lord Stanley’s Cup during the 1998 playoffs. Stick marks, board burns aplenty, un-repaired burn and slice holes, inner pilling and several team-sewn repairs dote this attractive gamer. A beautiful sweater worn by one of the better wingers that took to the ice thru the 1980’s and 90’s. This jersey will be accompanied by a Mighty Ducks team letter.
