This Dearborn, MI native graduated from the University of Michigan before beginning his NHL career with the Pens in 1993-94. He would spend parts of 6 seasons in Pittsburgh before a brief stint in New York and a final 5 years with the Atlanta Thrashers. This bruising defenseman racked up 1183 PIMS in 644 games of NHL service.
