This road black air-knit gamer by CCM was worn by Brian Bellows during the 1996-97 NHL season. Bellows retired with impressive career totals. He tabbed 485 goals and over 1000 points during his illustrious career. Brian was the Minnesota North Stars 1st pick, 2nd overall, in the 1982 NHL entry draft. Bellows was a 3-time NHL All Star, is a member of the 50-goal club and 4 times scored 40 or more goals in a season. A trade in the summer of 1992 brought Brian to Montreal, and it was in large part to his stellar play and 40-goals that the Canadiens captured the 1993 Stanley Cup in his first season with the club.
Worn during Bellows first season with the Bolts, this example shows tremendous wear consisting of numerous stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes, a fight strap that has lost the battle to salt and rust, fine inner pilling and some fantastic team-sewn repair work! A stellar example worn by this 50-Goal and 1000-point man during his first season in Tampa.
