This home white knit gamer by CCM was worn by Andrew Cassels during the 1995-96 NHL season. Cassels was a 1st round draft pick by the Montreal Canadiens in 1987. He began his career in Montreal in 1989-90 and spent 2 years with the Canadiens. Following his time in Montreal was a 6 year stay in Hartford with the Whalers. Andrew then spent 2 years in Calgary followed by 3 in Vancouver, 2 in Columbus and 1 in Washington. Cassels lit the lamp better than 200 times in his career which spanned in excess of 1000 games played.
Proudly sewn to the left breast of this gamer is the alternate Captain’s “A”. Game wear is solid consisting of numerous stick marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes and inner pilling. On the inside hem is the Hartford Whalers official game worn jersey stamp.
