This road black air-knit gamer by CCM was worn by Ted Donato during the 1993-94 NHL season. The Boston Bruins selected Donato in the 5th round of the 1987 NHL Entry Draft. After graduating from Harvard University, this Boston, MA native joined the Bruins in 1991-92. Ted spent his first 7+ seasons as a member of the Bruins before completing his 13-year NHL career with stops in New York with the Isles, Ottawa, Anaheim, Dallas, LA, St. Louis, New York with the Rangers and finally one last year in Beantown. Following his playing days, Donato spent 5 years coaching at his alma mater, Harvard University.
The game wear on this sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes and inner pilling. In addition there is some un-repaired trauma to the back of the collar. A beautiful black sharpie signature in Donato’s own hand resides on the crest of this gamer. A nice offering from Ted’s career-best 54-point season.
