Duchesne was one of the higher scoring defenseman of his generation, netting 227 goals and 752 points during a 16-year career that spanned over 1100 games. He had a dozen successive double digit goal seasons which included 20+ on 4 different occasions. In his 16th and final season, Steve captured the Stanley Cup as a member of the Detroit Red Wings.
