He would spend the first 7 years of a 20-year career with the Bruins. His next 13-seasons were spent with the Hartford-Carolina franchise where Glen played until 2007-08. This former NHL All Star defenseman racked up an impressive 1457 games during his lengthy career, proving his durability over the course of two decades in the NHL. Glen partook in 2 Stanley Cup Finals while with Boston, losing both times to the Oilers dynasty. After another Finals loss in 2002 with Carolina, Wesley and the Hurricanes captured the Stanley Cup in 2006.
The game wear on this 2nd set sweater is solid and consists of numerous stick and slash marks, plenty of board burns and un-repaired burn holes, board paint transfer, washed out bloodstains, inner pilling and more than a couple of handfuls of team-sewn repairs. On the inside hem is the official Boston Bruins game worn jersey and set stamp. A well-worn vintage Bruins sweater from the days of Bourque and Neely.
