Skrudland joined the NHL during the Montreal Canadiens Stanley Cup winning season of 1985-86. He spent his first 8 seasons with the Canadiens prior to moving to the Flames, Panthers, Rangers and Stars. All told Brian amassed 881 games in a 15-year NHL career. Skrudland will be fondly remembered as one of the leagues finest defensive forwards of his generation.
