This home white knit gamer by CCM was worn by tough guy Denny Lambert during his pre-NHL days. This modern era tough guy began his NHL career in the mid 1990’s after spending time with Sault Ste. Marie and the San Diego Gulls. He would play 8 NHL seasons in all, representing the likes of Anaheim, Ottawa, Nashville and Atlanta. In 487 career games, Denny racked up an astounding 1391 PIMS.
Proudly sewn to the left breast of this gamer is the Captain’s “C”. This gamer was worn during his first of four seasons with San Diego. Denny played in 71 games in 1991-92 with the Gulls, scoring 17 goals and tabbing 229 PIMS. Game wear is solid, consisting of stick marks, numerous board burns, loads of board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes and fine pilling. Recycled to Denny from the prior season, there remains evidence of a plate change. A fantastic looking vintage minor league gamer worn by this noted pugilist.
