This home white air-knit gamer by CCM was worn by Al Macinnis during the 1991-92 NHL season. Macinnis was the Calgary Flames 1st round selection in the 1981 NHL entry draft. He played as a member of the Flames organization for the first 13 years of his 23 year NHL career. The last segment was spent as a member of the St. Louis Blues, where he played for 10 seasons.

Al partook in better than 1400 career regular season games that saw him score 340 goals and 1274 points. In another 177 playoff contests Al added 39 goals and 160 points. Macinnis is the 3rd highest scoring defenseman in NHL history trailing only Ray Bourque and Paul Coffey. His 934 career assists place him in the top 20 all time in that category.
 
Macinnis won the Norris trophy as best defenseman in 1999 and was 7-times a 1st or 2nd team NHL All Star. He played in 12 NHL All Star games and is thought to have the hardest shot in league history. In 1989 Macinnis and his Calgary Flames captured the Stanley Cup with Al winning the Conn Smythe award as playoff MVP. He represented team Canada in the 1991 Canada Cup and in the 1998 and 2002 Olympic Games where he won a gold medal. A Hall of Fame berth lies in his near future.

Sewn to the left breast of this gamer is the alternate Captain’s “A”. Sewn to the right breast is the 75-year NHL anniversary patch. The game wear is solid consisting of stick marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes, washed out bloodstains and heavy inner pilling.
