Nedved was the 2nd overall selection in the 1990 NHL entry draft by the Vancouver Canucks where he began his career. Following 3 seasons in Vancouver, Nedved played a year for St. Louis, New York for 7 seasons, the Penguins for 2 years, and short stints for the Oilers, Coyotes and Flyers. Nedved’s finest individual season came whilst a member of the Penguins in 1995-96 when he netted 45 goals and 99 points. He has represented Team Canada in the 1994 Olympics and the Czech-Republic in the 1996 World Cup of Hockey.
