This road blue air-knit gamer by CCM was worn by Dennis Vaske during the 1990-91 pre-season and or training camp. Vaske joined the Islanders organization after having spent 4 seasons with the NCAA’s University of Minnesota-Deluth. After spending most of his first season with the Capital District Islanders, Dennis got his first callup and spent 5 games in the Isles lineup. The following 2 seasons saw Vaske split his time between the two teams before becoming a regular on the Islanders blueline during the 1992-93 playoff run. He would spend 8 seasons with the Islanders and a final year with the Bruins before retiring.
Worn during Vaske’s pre-rookie days, this road blue air-knit shows fine game use that consists of stick marks, board burns, un-repaired burn holes and inner pilling.
