This home white knit gamer by CCM was worn by Rob Pearson during the 1989-90 OHL season. Pearson was the Toronto Maple Leafs 1st round selection in the 1989 NHL entry draft. He played in Belleville for 2 + seasons before moving onto the Oshawa Generals, Newmarket Saints and Saint John’s Maple Leafs. In 1991-92, Pearson broke the Maple Leafs lineup where he remained for 3 seasons. His later NHL stops were in Washington and St. Louis. Pearson was a big junior’s goal scorer who also had a knack for racking up the PIMS. In 1989-90, his only season of substance with Belleville, Rob netted 48 goals in 58 games while amassing 174 PIMS.
The game wear on this sweater is solid and consists of many stick marks and board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes and heavy inner pilling. The old style sewn on Belleville Bulls crest and logos are all sewn on as are the player name and number.
